Sunbury Youth Baseball Registration @ Sunbury Municipal Building

Sunbury Youth Baseball holding registration for T Ball, Coach Pitch, Minor Division with Tournament Play, Major Division with Tournament Play, and Teener Play. Volunteers Needed for LAPS Shelter

LAPS (The Lycoming Animal Protection Society) is a non profit, no kill, all feline adoption center located in South Williamsport. They are in need of volunteers to help take care of the cats. Duties include: feeding and watering, cleaning litter pans, administering medication and providing love until adoption. The shelter is vet run. Visit them online at lapsshelter.org

Spaghetti Dinner to Benefit HS Musical @ UDA HS Cafeteria

The Upper Dauphin Area HS, Church Street, Elizabethville, will host a benefit spaghetti dinner on Friday in the HS cafeteria from 4:30 to 7pm. Enjoy pasta, sauce, meatballs, salad, bread and beverage while listening to the performers sing songs from this year’s production of The Sound of Music. Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. All proceeds benefit the Sound of Music production.

Saturday Trains Program @ Christ Memorial Episcopal Church, Danville

Christ Memorial Episcopal Church at the corner of Pine and East Market streets in Danville, will be open with its “talking train,” the Amtrak “Pennsylvanian,” among the dozens of trains and a new model merry-go-round that children and adults can play with. More than 1,000 icicle lights decorate the display.

Ham Supper @ Benton United Methodist Church

Eat in or take out at Benton United Methodist Church.   Dinner includes ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, string bean casserole, pickled cabbage, jello salad, pie or cake, iced tea, lemonade, hot tea, or coffee.

WHEELCHAIR ENGINEERS @ Columbia Mall

Every Saturday afternoon the handicapped accessible Wheelchair Engineers program at the  Columbia Mall lets children and adults run its model railroad trains to their hearts content.

The Wheelchair Engineers program will be at the Columbia Mall, with hadicapped accessible model train layouts, will be open with its new hours from 12pm- 4pm. See a vintage American Flyer and the new Dillon Floral limited edition train with its puffing MTH steam engine and new MTH controls, among the six trains and a streetcar on the tracks. The HO layout is running with two trains! Everyone is welcome.
