Remember to bring the following: All insurance cards including Medicare, Driver’s license or Photo ID, A list of current medications, last year’s income verification if applying for PACE, and current income verification to apply for pharmacy extra help or state coverage for your Medicare Part B premium.
Come start your holiday shopping early with crafters and direct sales vendors such! There will be plenty of food and baked goods and a Chinese Auction. Goody bags will be given to children and Santa will be visiting from noon until 2pm. Proceeds benefit the Gratz Borough Park and Recreation Committee.
Every Saturday afternoon the handicapped accessible Wheelchair Engineers program at the Columbia Mall lets children and adults run its model railroad trains to their hearts content.
The Wheelchair Engineers program will be at the Columbia Mall, with hadicapped accessible model train layouts, will be open with its new hours from 12pm- 4pm. See a vintage American Flyer and the new Dillon Floral limited edition train with its puffing MTH steam engine and new MTH controls, among the six trains and a streetcar on the tracks. The HO layout is running with two trains! Everyone is welcome.
The Middlecreek Area Community Center offering childcare every Sunday afternoons from 1 – 4pm thru December 21st so parents can get Christmas shopping done. Care provided for kids from ages 4 to 12 years are age. Cost is only $10 per child. Snacks, drinks and games under the supervision of PSU certified teacher. Walk ins are welcomed but pre registration is preferred. Call to register your child.
LAPS (The Lycoming Animal Protection Society) is a non profit, no kill, all feline adoption center located in South Williamsport. They are in need of volunteers to help take care of the cats. Duties include: feeding and watering, cleaning litter pans, administering medication and providing love until adoption. The shelter is vet run. Visit them online at lapsshelter.org

Stop in at the River House Brew Pub for cash and prize raffles at 3pm. Then at 5 dinner will be served with music starting at 6 provided by Saxman Ravi. All tickets purchased at the door are $25. Proceeds from this event will help off-set the medical expenses the Hadcock Family has incurred. For discount tickets or additional information contact the River House at 570-523-1900.
Come out and enjoy all you can eat pasta salad, bread, drinks and dessert. Music will be provided by Saxman Ravi, balloons by Scott and face painting will be going on. Raffles, prizes and more. Proceeds being used to offset medical expenses of the Hadcock family who’s daughter suffers from Arteriovenous Malformations (tangling of arteries and veins in the brain).
Medicare Open Enrollment begins October 15th and ends December 7th for coverage January 1. After December 7th you will not be able to choose a different plan unless you have SEP.
Even though you may be happy with your coverage it is important you have your current plan checked since plans change and currents prescriptions may not be covered for next year.
